Wrap the tofu in a cloth or paper towels to absorb the liquid and press down with something heavy such as a cast iron skillet or heavy cookbook to drain. Press the tofu for 20 minutes.
After the tofu is drained, cut into small cubes.
How to Cook Tofu on the Stove
Toss the drained and prepared tofu cubes with cornstarch, salt and pepper until all the pieces are completely coated.
Air fry tofu at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes, tossing halfway so that the tofu cooks evenly on all sides.

Beginner Tofu Draining Hack: Use a cookie sheet or cutting board over the top of the towel wrapped tofu, then press with a heavy cookbook, cast iron skillet or large can of food.
