Homemade Halloween Biscuits

Easy southern homemade biscuits with a twist for the holidays.

  • 3 Cups of Self Rising Flour
  • 1 stick of Butter
  • 1/2 cup of sprinkles
  • 2 cups of Confectioner's Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons of water

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add in your self rising flour.
  • Add in the butter and using your hands begin to 'crumble' the butter into the flour. You want to completely mix the butter to make crumbs. You can also use a food processor to mix the flour and butter until you get the crumbly texture.
  • Add in your sprinkles.
  • Make a 'hole' in the middle of the flour and butter mix and pour in slowly 1/2 cup of milk.
  • Using a spatula, fold over the flour on top of the milk and press down. If it is still too dry, add in more milk and fold over and then mix until a dough forms.
  • Place dough on floured surface and knead for about 1 minute. Roll out the dough about 1 1/2 inch in thickness.
  • Cut out your biscuit rounds.
  • Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray and place the biscuits on the sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until they rise tall and fluffy.
  • Drizzle them with your glaze hot out of the oven or wait for them to cool.
