This week’s kid friendly, healthy menu was planned by Lisa at Natural Promise. She is a real life friend of mine who has an inspiring story to tell. Lisa is a mom of two and a three year Ovarian Cancer survivor. She was an active, mid 30’s, healthy woman when this disease changed her life. Since her cancer diagnosis she has spent the last several years trying to figure out what foods are considered good for you and what foods to avoid, and what foods are considered cancer causers and what foods are considered cancer fighters.
I’m excited to have Lisa provide this menu, because I’d like to start feeding my children better foods since both cancer and heart disease run in my family.
