This week’s kid friendly, healthy menu was planned by Lisa at Natural Promise. She is a real life friend of mine who has an inspiring story to tell. Lisa is a mom of two and a three year Ovarian Cancer survivor. She was an active, mid 30’s, healthy woman when this disease changed her life. Since her cancer diagnosis she has spent the last several years trying to figure out what foods are considered good for you and what foods to avoid, and what foods are considered cancer causers and what foods are considered cancer fighters.
I’m excited to have Lisa provide this menu, because I’d like to start feeding my children better foods since both cancer and heart disease run in my family.
Please visit Lisa’s blog for all kinds of ideas for healthy living. Thanks Lisa for providing such healthy meals for us to try! Hopefully I can get my kids to try some of these dinners:-)

I have created a printable PDF file with all of the recipes, photos and grocery list. Just print the file and you’re ready to go shopping!! And best of all, it’s FREE!
Visit this page to find out how you can submit your weekly meal plan and be featured on Living Locurto.
I’ve added this to OrgJunkie’s Meal Plan Monday. Head over there to find even more meal ideas.
