If you’re planning a trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, consider making reservations at Tiffins. You’ll travel the world with this extensive menu inspired by cuisines from across the globe. Without ever leaving the theme park!
On a recent trip to Animal Kingdom, I decided to book a reservation at Tiffins for dinner. We usually get full on Animal Kingdom snacks, but this time we wanted to dine at one of the most well-known restaurants in Disney World.
I took my daughter and friends and believe me, nobody was disappointed! We decided to go all-in and try a little bit of everything, from appetizers to dessert!
What Kind of Food is Tiffins?
The food at Tiffins is described as international cuisine, but it’s familiar enough that even the most non-adventurous diner will find something to like.
My daughter ordered a simple plate of grilled chicken and rice and it was delicious! Meanwhile, the table next to us was enjoying the grilled octopus appetizer. There is something for everyone at Tiffins!
What Should I Order at Tiffins Restaurant?
After a day of theme park rides and entertainment, we were hungry when we sat down to dinner at Tiffins. So we ordered a charcuterie board to share.
The charcuterie board was simple but had quite an assortment of cheeses, meats, nuts, and peppers. Do not pass up Tiffins Signature Bread Service on the appetizer menu!
Butter Chicken At Tiffins Restaurant
Did you know that the Butter Chicken dish at Tiffins is well known because it’s the chef’s own family recipe? Our server gave us that tip! After hearing that, we knew we had to try it.
The butter chicken is served with an interesting chickpea rice croquette that really compliments the spicy, rich butter sauce. If you like butter chicken, you have to try this dish!
Tiffins Restaurant Shrimp and Grits
Here’s a dish you may be familiar with, but hang on, the Smoked Pepper Jam takes it to a whole new level! It was so delicious. I couldn’t eat enough of it.
Our server told us that during the pandemic shut down period, she missed it so much that she learned how to make it at home. It’s that good!
Try the “Kid’s Create-Your-Own Entrees” at Tiffins for Your Picky Eaters
Have picky eater in your group? No worries, Tiffins has a menu for them! My daughter and her friend both ordered from the kid’s menu. They loved the macaroni and cheese. My daughter ordered simple grilled chicken and her friend ordered shredded beef tacos.
How Long Does it Take to Eat at Tiffins?
To eat at Tiffins Restaurant, I would recommend planning on 60 to 90 minutes.
The service was fast and attentive, but we still had enough time to unwind and relax after a long day spent at the theme park. In case you’re wondering about the dress code, just think theme park and don’t worry about it!
Is Tiffins at Animal Kingdom Good?
In a word, YES! The food we ordered was delicious and prepared perfectly. It’s definitely worth the price. We all enjoyed our dinner and would go back on our next visit to Animal Kingdom. Just be sure to make reservations before you go!
Also don’t miss walking around in Pandora after dinner. It’s glorious at night when everything glows!
