This week’s photo challenge at I Heart Faces is PETS.
Recently, I went home to Oklahoma and visited The Pioneer Woman’s ranch. As I was driving home, the wild mustangs all of the sudden started walking to the top of the hill towards me. It was a site to see.
I was glad I had my zoom lens with me that afternoon. Their faces are beautiful!
I’m breaking the I Heart Faces rules now with more than one photo (but since I’m a co-founder and just doing it for fun… hey that’s okay!) I hope you’ll enter a pet photo this week. It doesn’t have to be your own pet, any pet like animal will be fine.

These are both absolutely beautiful pictures. There’s something about seeing wild horses that just makes me want to let my hair down and run through a field with my arms wide open…corny, I know, but it’s the image of such freedom and wild abandon that’s enticing.
Beautiful pictures! I’m a tad jealous that you were at PW’s ranch 🙂
Beautiful….simply beautiful.
Wow – the wild mustangs are stunning! How lucky of you to get to visit the PW ranch!

Oh what a treat to visit with the PW, and to see these wild mustangs!! When I first saw this, that’s who I thought about … both of these images are beautiful, Amy! Simple, clean, and sweet! I entered, and, thankfully, made it in time, this week … this is a fun theme, and I can’t stop browsing all the adorable images! Wonder if anyone else is having the same problem?! 🙂

Love! The light is gorgeous. What a majestic photo op!
What a treasure and treat to be able to experience mustangs “in the wild”! I’ve drooled over Ree’s photos but can’t even imagine being there “for real”. I don’t think I would ever come back. I do love seeing you featured on her blog; it’s very cool to see a “familiar” face on there!
Got to see Ree’s ranch.. I’m jealous. Beautiful horses and photos.
