Now I’m on the hunt for educational web sites. If you have a favorite, please put a link to it in the comments.

I stumbled upon a wonderful Alphabet web site called Bembo’s Zoo. The letters turn into animals! Your kids will love it.

Here are a few other great sites for kids:

Starfall

The San Francisco Symphony (SFS) Kid’s Music Lab

Find a ton of great sites at kids.gov

  1. I have all kinds of educational sites bookmarked on our other computer, but I’m too lazy to go find them. 🙂 Since our older kids are in school all day now, we rarely use the online sites except for the one that the school asks the kids to use (www.studyisland.com.) This site is really nice because the kids can compete against one another. That sounds weird, but my kids really get a kick out of seeing where they stand in comparison with their friends.

    Glad you’re feeling better Amy!

  2. I have several posts about this on my blog but my favorite is Brillbaby/Brill Kids Little Reader. It is a wonderful site for teaching children to read, colors, shapes, and ect. I probably have 100 that I look at reguarly so this is so hard for me! I do love that site though.

  3. My son loves Starfall That’s the only one I have ever known of though, so I’m glad you’re doing this, so I can get some more for us to visit together.
