Many of you made guesses here and on Facebook about what my daughter wants for her 3rd birthday party theme!
I promised my cupcake notes to the people who guessed correctly. There were wonderful guesses of butterflies, Dora, Cinderella, Cup Cakes, Lollipops, poodles and many more. Now I have lots of ideas for next year!!
So what did she pick? Amy K. was the only person to guess correctly… Mermaids!! Yay Amy! Yes, my daughter LOVES Ariel, The Little Mermaid, so having a pool party with mermaids will be perfect for her! Of course, I have to do something more original than the typical Ariel/Little Mermaid party theme:-)

My daughter is turning 3 in August- I didn’t let her pick the theme because I know the window of time I can force my ideas on her is small and I LOVE planning and making B-day stuff….
She also is OBSESSED with ariel and my mom has a giant tub of all ariel themed stuff for her birthday.
So, I am doing a theme of red and aqua- mermaid stuff will match, but I am not forced into a full on Disney birthday!
I have such a hard time figuring out all the FB stuff- I don’t know maybe it’s my age =)
