Theme: Sports in Action

This week’s theme was hard for me! I have so many sports action shots between my son and husband that I couldn’t choose. I finally decided on this photo because I loved my son’s face as he was running… or maybe jumping towards third base. He looks like he’s half smiling, half really serious. All I know is he is ultra determined to NOT get an out:-)

It’s also pet week!

This is obviously not my pet, but he is a baby and really cute. I always love baby animals!

  1. Well, phew! I am so glad you clarified that the giraffe was not your pet since I was totally going to believe you had a GIRAFFE as a pet : ) So cute. Adorable, really. I think you should get one. The kids would dig it!

LOVE the baseball picture. So cute how he is flying in air. I hope he did not get out!

  2. Adorable picture! I can’t wait until my little man is old enough to join organized sports so I can capture gems like yours!
(PS: being from St. Louis, I absolutely love that you’re son plays for “the Cardinals” and they are playing against “the Cubs”…Cards win every time!)

  7. WOW! Great captures. The giraffe photo is especially interesting to me. It looks like it is on the border of urban city and nicer downtown city the way the fencing looks next to the brick. Cool!

  8. Great pic of your son. Nice mid air capture. I just love that age of players – they are so enthusiastic. Sports are still play.

  9. Great entry as usual… really love the sports in action photo. It was definitely a hard one this week. I haven’t had time to go to many sporting events being a new mommy this last year. And to think you just came back from vacation… wow!!! Great Job!!!! Thanks for the insperation.
