One Pot Turkey Chili Ingredients
This Southwest chili recipe with corn is packed with flavor. Make 30 minute chili in 3 easy steps.
- ground turkey – Get the leanest meat you can for a lower calorie chili
- olive oil – You can omit this, but I love using it to bring out the flavor in the garlic.
- garlic – fresh chopped garlic is my choice, but garlic in a can works just as well
- low sodium beef broth – beef broth gives it much more flavor than water
- tomato sauce – This gives your chili a delicious flavor
- diced tomatoes – I usually use petite diced tomatoes in my chili as I don’t like chunky tomatoes in chili.
- Hunts seasoned diced tomatoes for mild chili – I really love these spicy tomatoes for making chili! If you can’t find them at your grocery store, I’ve got a substitute in the recipe box below.
- kidney beans – I personally love dark red kidney beans the best, but any color will work.
- sweet corn – corn gives you the southwest flavor – use canned or cut fresh from the cob
- chili powder – always a must in chili
- ground cumin – another spice you always want in your chili
- salt – just a little is all you need
- cayenne pepper – gives you that southwestern spicy kick!
