I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break! I enjoyed taking time off from the computer to be ultra lazy. Man it was nice, I almost became a real hermit in my jammies forever! I’m glad to be back because I have some exciting things to share!

Besides all the fun Christmas festivities, I didn’t do much of anything. Well, besides creating a major mess in my house, I did accomplish one very cool thing… decorating this gingerbread house.

I had so much fun creating my little pink house! I’m so mean though, you don’t know how many times I’ve shooed my kids away so they would keep their hands OFF MY HOUSE!

My friend Belinda made a cookie house from scratch for me. I was going to put little gingerbread people around the pool, but ended up eating them instead! Sorry Belinda, your cookies were way too good.  We’ll have to celebrate the new year by eating this up. My kids will be so excited and won’t believe that I’ll actually let them touch it!

Exciting News Update!

Okay, I admit… I have been doing a little more than just gingerbread house decorating. I’m excited to announce, that I’ve been working away on a new project for a while and it’s finally about to launch! My friend Angie and I have started a photography sharing web site where you can showcase your photos, network with other bloggers and photographers, win free promotions and get tips from guest photographers.

You are one of the first to hear about this new site and we hope you’ll help us spread the word. We really need your help!

It’s called focuses on the art of capturing faces and their various emotions. If you’ve seen Angie’s photos, you know she is passionate about photography and her shots usually center around people…and their beautiful, unique faces…and the wonderful emotions that their faces convey. We realized there wasn’t a photography sharing forum for those types of photos. That’s when the idea for I ? Faces was born.

The site is for anyone who takes pictures, newbies, amateurs and professionals alike. Click on the screen shot to visit our site (which is still under construction). We’ll be announcing something great on New Year’s Day… so be sure to come back to find out what it is!! We officially start the photography sharing on January 12th!

  5. Hi Amy,

My family and I didn’t get to do a gingerbread house, but I may just run up to the store and get one just so I can take some cute pictures and make more memories for my kids.
