The hair cut botch of 2008 had to be written about on my blog. Here's a funny parenting story that you might be able to relate to! When you try to cut your son's hair yourself! Mine!
We had some new friends over for a play date yesterday. I was talking with another mom during VBS and our little girls became fast friends by following each other around the church lobby, then switching shoes. A bond that only a 2 year old with a passion for shoes can understand. It was really sweet, they even held hands. I couldn't believe it, I had to have this sweet girl over to play. Vacation
Yippee! We go on vacation next week! We haven't gone on a family vacation in four years. I've been so excited about going to the Outer Banks in North Carolina to meet my husband's brother and his family. It's supposed to be a remote beach where wild mustangs roam free. We were planning to ride horses, get a family photo on the beach, maybe surf and make lots of sand castles. Then I looked at the weather forecast.... Just our luck!!
