I’m thankful for all of you who read my gibberish and even like some of the crafty things I do:-) I’ve received some wonderful emails from many of you and I couldn’t be more thankful for YOU, my new bloggy friends. Thanks for the prayers for my husband’s knee. He is doing much better. Still in bed, but not as much in agony as before. Because we can’t travel, my mom is coming to visit and I’ll be cooking a nice home-made dinner for us. I’m looking forward to having some time to relax and maybe do some crafting. I’ll see you back here on Monday!

For all you chocoholics, this pie is a must! Here’s the recipe that she wrote on a small piece of paper:

Grandma Chunkie’s Easy to Make Rich & Creamy Chocolate Pie

• One large Hershey Candy Bar (milk chocolate) 8 oz (now I get 2 large chocolate bars)

• 18 large marshmallows cut up

• 1/2 cup sweet milk (I don’t know what that meant… so I just use regular milk)

• 18 oz. Cool Whip

• Melt Candy bar and marshmallows in milk over low fire until smooth. Cool.

• Add 1-9 oz Cool Whip into chocolate mixture

• Pour into baked pie shell and keep cool until ready to serve.

Don’t forget to spoon a large helping of Cool Whip on your slice of pie! (I like to add chocolate sprinkles too)

Here is my attempt at making cute Thanksgiving Cookies .

I forgot to get malt balls! But, I think they turned out cute enough. My daughter didn’t seem to mind. She gobbled them up!

My son came home from school with the cutest book. Each kid wrote how they thought you cooked a turkey, then the teacher bound them together to make this book.

This is what my son said…

The left side is me shopping at Target for the turkey, middle is the turkey in the oven, right side is him and his dad eating the turkey. So no love for me and baby sister?? Only the boys get to eat I guess:-)

I laughed out loud at what this kid wrote…

On Oprah, Peter talked about one of the things we discussed. What to do with your kid’s artwork. I know all of us with little kids probably have our fridge covered in the stuff. It drives me crazy, but I don’t want to throw out the cute things either. You can only frame so many. Peter suggested taking photos of them and making a digital book. Great idea right? Of course it’s been a year and I haven’t taken one photo!

I taped this show and am vowing to take 15 minutes per day to do some type of organizing. Mainly cabinets, closests and junk drawers. I figure in about 8 years I’ll have a totally organized house!! My mom actually enjoys organizing… bleeck!!! I’ve talked her into helping me over Thanksgiving. She says I’m like this because I drove her crazy by procrastinating and she would just do things for me. I had to laugh, as she said this, she was ironing my clothes! hee. hee.

My sweet online, never met, but is now by best friend forever, Angie sent me this adorable photo. She recieved her package of goodies for winning the Best Photo in my Halloween contest.
