Here is just a portion of what I did…

I not only designed and launched a new web site for I Heart Faces, but my partner Angie and I planned a Photo Walk Across America in 20 cities! Many cities sold out in the first few weeks. We had 50 people attend the walk in Dallas. I met a lot of great new friends who I even run into now from time to time. What a blast!

Planned and pulled off my son’s Lego Birthday Party.

I added newborn photography services to my  business.

Made lots of yummy treats!

Attended my daughter’s first dance recital.

Visited my small home town in Oklahoma.

Got to hang out with a famous dog and a famous blogger.

Went on a 7 day cruise aboard the Carnival Conquest.

Celebrated my daughter’s 4th birthday.

Was surprised with a real life tree house!

Here is my idea from last year’s back to school photos with my kids. The catalog cover looks sort of familiar doesn’t it?

I think mine is much cuter. ha!

Now that Pottery Barn Kids has suckered me in with their cute idea of mine… look what I found!

Oh my word, I’m going to buy this just for a baby photography prop! They have an older girl’s owl costume, but there is no way I can talk my daughter into being an owl. Princess, Butterfly or Fairy will always trump owl:-)

Off topic, but who in their right mind is spending $59 on a milk costume??? I’m just wondering outloud…

A bubble theme is perfect for any age, especially little ones! I hope you enjoy my photos and get some inspiration for your own bubble party or play date. This would make a great end of the summer party!

The table was covered with bright polka dot fabric that matched my printables perfectly! I found some shimmering marbles that looked just like bubbles. I scattered them around the cake which made the cutest table decor.

The hit of the party was the plastic pool filled with dish washing soap and water. It was only a matter of 2 seconds before we found the pretty birthday girl inside the pool!! So if you do this, be sure to have a change of clothes and towels ready. Ha!

A tray full of vanilla wafer cookies, icing and sprinkles made a festive cookie bar. All ages of kids loved this! If you have a lot of kids at your party, I recommend several of these so the line isn’t as long.

Popcorn went great with the “popping” bubbles theme.

There were bubbles everywhere with cute labels of course!

I also had pipe cleaners for the kids to make their own bubble wands. Pipe cleaners are perfect for making great bubbles. The big wands were a hit with everyone!

It was a fun time by everyone! I was thrilled to create something that made the entire family so happy.

Right after this song, the rodeo queen finalists did a line dance! It was a site to see:-) All my photos turned out blurry. I was so mad!
