Love Crush Valentines Day Party {Free Printables}

Do you love Valentine’s Day? I do!! Red is one of my most favorite colors and my girls love “Crush” soda. As I was walking around the craft store, I came across cute little bottles of crush soda with candy inside. My mind was immediately rolling with cute ideas for a kids Valentine’s day party! The “Love Crush” theme was on my schedule stat!

For a party such as this, I like to borrow things from friends and neighbors. I also shop at garage sales and Goodwill. I made the hearts garland hanging on the desserts table and the red table runner is from my etsy store.

There are so many great details to this party. Have fun browsing through the photos and be sure to visit the great vendors who contributed to the sweetness!

Custom made “love crush” marshmallows on a stick were my favorite! Thank you to The Marshmallow Studio for these beautiful creations!

I made a ribbon garland as the backdrop to hang behind the kissing booth….LOVE it!

Easy Marshmallow Easter Treats

I’m more of a baby chick kind of girl when it comes to Easter. So I made these fun and easy treats any chicken lover would adore!

You’ll need

Large Marshmallows
Jelly Beans
Edible Markers
Small Tube of Icing
Tooth Picks

Directions

Press a jelly bean in the middle of the marshmallow. It should stick if you shove it in hard enough. Draw eyes and wings with the pen. Add a little frosting on top then add the toothpick legs.

Use as decoration on top of cupcakes or stick into fruit for a fun after school snack!

Owl Smores

I designed party supplies for an outdoor Owl Party and came up with these Owl S’mores. One of my most favorite creations yet! Serve these easy treats for Halloween, a Fall party or after school snack.

Ingredients:

graham crackers
marshmallows
chocolate chips
yellow candy melts
candy corn

Directions:

Cut one marshmallow in half and place both pieces on a large graham cracker (2 stuck together).
Put a candy melt on top of the marshmallows.
Heat in the microwave for about 2-5 seconds, just enough to make the marshmallows puff up, but not get too hot.
Take out of microwave and add a chocolate chip on the yellow candy melt and the candy corn beak while the marshmallows and candy are still warm. Everything should stick together nicely.
Let cool and serve! You can make these the night before a party and everything is still very tasty.

8 Ways to Dress-Up a Marshmallow

I love decorating Marshmallow Pops for easy and pretty treats. Remember those Lego Pops I made? Well, I recently came across these fabulous ideas by Melissa and Kellie from Icing Designs and just had to feature them here! I can’t wait to jazz up some marshmallows. Thanks girls for the yummy inspiration!

Chocolate Peanut Butter – Dip your marshmallow in melted peanut butter chips, let it dry and dip again half way up in melted mik chocolate.

Smores- Dip in milk chocolate and roll in crushed graham crackers.

Cookies and Cream – Dip in white chocolate and roll in crushed oreos.

Turtles- Melt caramel candies (let them cool a little bit before you dip the marshmallow or it will melt) dip the marshmallow in and let it cool, then dip it again in milk chocolate. Roll the bottom in crushed pecans.

You can’t go wrong with white chocolate and sprinkles. I love the cupcake topper idea too!

I’m loving these super cute birthday marshmallows!

Dip the marshmallow in white chocolate and let it dry, then dip the top in chocolate (or use any color you would like). Add some sprinkles and put a chocolate candle on top. Get directions for making the candle on Icing Design’s blog.
