After seeing this wonderfully, simple American Girl Pioneer Party by Brittany at One Charming Party, I just had to share. This took me right back to my Little House on the Prairie phase!

I love that each girl was transformed back in time with a bonnet and apron. Then they made bread and strawberry jam. Each girl got to take home a mini pan of bread and a small container of jam.

A party wouldn’t be complete without games, pretty decorations and a wagon ride!

This is a very busy season for me, so I have to think of quick treats. For Easter, I’ll be making some cotton candy cupcakes. No recipe needed, just put some cotton candy inside cupcake wrappers, add some M&M’s and Peeps and you’ve got a quick and cute alternative to cupcakes.

Be sure to serve them within several hours after making them, otherwise the cotton candy will shrivel up…. especially with Peeps on top of them. I wrapped them up, but the Peeps still melted the cotton candy by the end of the day. If you plan to make ahead of time, just add cotton candy and wrap up tight.

I’m excited to show you the first real party with my new Fairy Printables! This was my neighbor Lauren’s 4th birthday party and it was magical.

The party started by entering the “Fairy Changing Room” (aka coat closet) where you would be turned into a real fairy! After a few magic words along with pixie dust sprinkled on your head, you got to pick out your very own fairy tutu to wear to the party! How cute was that?

Then it was time to eat and sing happy birthday. What nice day to eat cupcakes outside!

Next we made fairy wands. (This activity is also included in my Fairy Party Pack.) It was a nice no mess activity and a big hit with the girls.

Lauren’s mommy made all the tutus herself. She cut tulle into strips, tied them to a ribbon and added a hair bow for some bling. A perfect party favor!

This recipe came from my sister-in-law, Liisa. Her friend Marie sent it to her. Don’t you love how recipes get passed along?

Yum! I could eat this entire pan! I’m making it for a dinner party with friends this weekend and thought you might like it too. Enjoy!

Ingredients

•  2  cans crescent dinner rolls
• 1/4 lb thinly sliced ham
• 1/4 lb provolone cheese
• 1/4 lb swiss cheese
• 1/4 lb thin sliced salami
• 1/4 lb pepperoni
• 1 jar roasted red peppers, drained, cut into thin strips (optional)
• 3 eggs
• 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. Line a 9×13 inch pan with one can of dough. Layer the meats, sliced cheeses and red peppers, on top of the dough.
3. In a bowl, beat the eggs lightly, and stir in the parmesan cheese and black pepper. Pour 3/4 of this mixture over the peppers.
4. Unroll the second package of dough, and place over the top of the peppers. Brush with the remaining egg mixture. Cover with aluminum foil.
5. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake another 10 to 20 minutes, or until dough is fluffy and golden brown.
