WOW! It’s been a year since Angie and I launched I Heart Faces!! We are celebrating BIG time this week a brand new look (I did the design on a crazy coffee driven creative whim!), 18 spectacular judges and a super giveaway EVERYDAY!!!

We are beyond thrilled that so many people are inspired by and enjoy our web site. It’s been amazing getting to know and collaborate with so many wonderful people! Heck, I’ve even become a half-way decent photographer without having to use Photoshop to fix my mistakes. Now that’s progress!

Our theme this week is “Best Face Photo” and the photo you enter has to have been taken in December ’09 or January ’10.

I recently visited my brother and sister-in-law in Boston where there was snow and lots of it! That’s exciting since we don’t see much of it in Texas. Most good photos I captured were in the snow, but my all time favorite face was not of our kids, but of their new puppy Daisy. Here she was waiting patiently outside for someone to let her in. Her ears would perk up when I said her name… what a cute (and very spoiled, I might add) model!

A spooktacular Halloween activity for kids!

My son was home sick all week, so I had to come up with something new for him to do. We love dressing up for Halloween so I made this little dog and some cute costumes. I’m sure this will be a hit at any Halloween party.

My days of the week tags were just featured on Lifehacker.com!! WOW! That is one of my favorite sites. Besides having a sick child, I’ve had such an exciting week. Thanks for all the encouragement and prayers for my son. He is totally fine now and back to normal. I’ve gone through one giant can of Lysol already, so hopefully nobody else catches swine flu around here.
