Fairy Birthday Party

I’m excited to introduce you to another guest blogging, graphic designing, crafty mom!

Last week you got to meet the ultra crafty and vintage styling Cathe Holden, this week I’d like to welcome my modern and ever so hip friend Jenn Kirk. Like me, she’s also a work from home mom of 2 young children who loves throwing creative birthday parties. Jenn was just featured on the Cookie blog for her son’s cute superhero party!! How cool is that? Go Jenn!!

My son’s birthday is after Christmas, so I’ve got birthday party on the brain. I love this design-your-own cupcake bar! This will go along great with our Mad Scientist themed party. Enjoy!

And another lovely birthday party we attended on Saturday. My friend Andi said she didn’t have a definitive theme as she was putting it together, but to me, it felt very whimsical and fairy-in-the-woods-like.

The gourmand she is, Andi baked not only a Swedish princess cake…

…but a banana-cream cake. Along with dozens of cupcakes for…

…a design-your-own cupcake bar. This was a hit!

You over-achieving moms are making me look bad ~ hee! :) What wonderful party ideas.

What I really want to know though is this…was that party really just this past Saturday?? None of the kids are wearing coats/hats/mittens/scarves/boots and some of the girls are even wearing sleeveless outfits! How is that fair when we are freezing our buns off here in Ohio? (I’m just a *bit* jealous.)
