Healthy snacks are most likely to be eaten in my house with a little added fun. So when I heard about the new 3-D animated film, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, I thought it would be cute to create a fun food idea and free party printables to go along with the magical adventure back to the world of Oz!
We can’t wait to see this new movie when it comes out on May 9th. It features a star-studded cast including Lea Michele, Hugh Dancy, Jim Belushi, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Kelsey Grammer, Oliver Platt, Bernadette Peters and Patrick Stewart. Plus, I love anything that has to do with Dorthy, The Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion!
When I was trying to think of something simple to make for my kids with an Oz theme, the yellow brick road kept coming to my mind.
Cheddar cheese cut into rectangles makes the perfect yellow brick road leading to a cup of fruit. A fun free printable mini sign is a great way to remind the kids to “Follow the Yellow Brick Road!” My daughter really loved this special treat!
You could have a cheese yellow brick road leading to any type of treat!
I designed two different party circle tags to be used for any type of Rainbow Party or Legends of Oz Party! The Rainbow tags are adorable on cupcakes.
