6 Crafty Spring Ideas

Amy wanted me to share 6 of my favorite Spring ideas with you. It may not seem like it for some of you, but warmer weather is coming. To help celebrate the spring season, I think you’ll have fun with a few of these ideas. Nothing too complicated and the kids may even get in on the action. All of the ideas I’m sharing with you are from past features on Today’s Creative Blog.

1. Seed tape

This idea is perfect for a spring gift. It’s perfect to get the kids involved. All you need is newspaper, seeds, and a bit of solution made with flour and water. Original, easy and fun to make. seed tape- spring ideas

2. Numbered pots

This idea will add a bit of spring to your home in a cute and darling way. You could do small ones like she did, or you could do large ones. All you need is a bit of paint and some stencils. Of course you could use other designs rather than numbers, but seriously…numbers are where it’s at. painted pots- spring idea

3. Table Weights

Eating outdoors is a true sign that spring has sprung. But there’s nothing I hate worse than when the wind blows and the corner of the table cloth ends up in my potato salad. That’s why you need table weights! And these are SO easy to make. You probably already have the supplies at home. A few aluminum washers, some cute paper and some ribbon. table weights

4. Quick Easter Decor

I admit I’m not one to go all out for Easter Decorations. But this looks simple enough. I could even have my son place the stickers on. This would keep the kids busy for about 10 min. Maybe more. If you’re a really good mom, you could put little surprises in them like an advent calendar.easter decorations

5. DIY Robins Egg Wreath

This wreath is a perfect project for spring. You can use it for Easter decor or just spring decor. It also gives you another use for all those cheap plastic Easter eggs. diy easter wreath

6. Quick Easter Gifts

Speaking of Easter. I fell in love with this featured bloggers quick and easy Easter gift ideas. What person wouldn’t love these? Again, simple and very affective. My kind of craft. You could have the kids help you, but I’m not sure you’ll have enough supplies to finish. Nom nom nom.easy easter gifts

  1. I had not noticed how quickly Easter is coming, but this article reminded me! The Quick Easter Décor is just the thing for making Easter an event in our home. This is an especially good idea because we had omitted the Christmas tree in favor of a creche last December. An “Easter tree” would then be a good way to give the kids a tree to decorate long after the Christmas lights have been brought down!

  2. Here in Florida we eat outside quite a lot, so I’m going to get me some washers to make tablecloth weights, but I’m going to cover them with fabric backed with Heat ‘N Bond iron-on interfacing that I’ll cut out with my Silhouette digital cutter! I love that idea! And wouldn’t they be smashing at the bottom of a shower curtain as well!
